Corriente judaica originada en el siglo VIII en Palestina que rechaza por completo el carácter normativo del Talmud, así como cualquier interpretación no literal del Tanaj y de la ley mosaica. Se sitúan por tanto al margen de las tres corrientes del judaísmo rabínico. Su número estaría en torno a los 50.000 adherentes, casi todos ellos en Israel.
